This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use BuildCalcHub ("the site"), operated by BuildCalcHub Digital Tools. We've written it in plain English because we'd like you to actually read it.

The short version

• Your calculator inputs (dimensions, quantities, materials) are processed entirely in your browser and are never stored on or transmitted to our servers.
• We don't require accounts and don't collect names, emails, or personal profiles.
• Like most free websites, we show advertising. Our advertising partners use cookies to serve and measure ads, as described below, and you can opt out of personalization.

Calculator inputs

Every calculation on this site runs client-side, meaning the math happens on your own device using code already loaded in your browser. The project dimensions you type are not saved, logged, or sent anywhere by us. Close the tab and they're gone.

Information collected automatically

When you visit any website, your browser automatically shares technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. Our hosting provider processes this data to deliver the site and maintain security, and we may use aggregated, non-identifying statistics (such as which calculators are most used) to improve the site.

Advertising and cookies

BuildCalcHub is funded by advertising, which is what keeps the calculators free. We use Google AdSense to serve ads. As part of this:

The site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding personal data such as access, deletion, and opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we don't maintain user accounts or store your inputs, the personal data involved in using this site is limited to the automatic technical data and advertising cookies described above.
